Examples Span UX, Product Developments & Conceptualisation of New Nano Technology Solutions
With over a decade of industry experience, I have managed large and complex projects and programmes in both industry and academia. Specifically, I have led and contributed to numerous User Experience (UX), new nanomaterial and other product developments spanning a wide range of sectors, including consumer products, healthcare, education, F1 racing, automotive, aerospace, energy, construction.
Currently, I am leading the operations and business development functions in a young company specialising in the production of a new wonder material - graphene, where the application of user design principles is a key differentiator in the development of the next generation of customer and industrial products and services. In this role, I have led and increased the effectiveness and efficiency of various business functions, including HR, IT, Production, Sales, Distribution, Finance and PR, as well as implemented different ISO compliant systems for different organisations.
I also led and managed an international project focusing on "Culture, Communication and Change: An Investigation of the Use and Impact of Modern Media and Technology in our Lives". The results of this research project were published in over 200 pieces of press and media coverage, including page 3 of The Telegraph, BBC news, Daily Mailnews. My management experience from this work has been encapsulated in the project management tutorials published by the University of Cambridge:
